Point Reyes Lighthouse
Constructed in 1870, the Point Reyes Lighthouse has shined its light over California’s treacherous coastline for over 150 years. Having remained solid and vigilant for well over a century in a windy, highly exposed marine environment, the Point Reyes Lighthouse was in need of significant restoration. In order to restore the lighthouse to its original integrity and appearance while creating a safe and weathertight space, our team worked to identify the material and fabrication techniques of the main structural members and identify processes for reproduction.
The restoration project at Point Reyes Lighthouse won the 2022 Preservation Design Award for Restoration.
New Hogan Dam Tainter Liftgate Replacement
This was the first ever project of its kind in North America. ETMS served as the General Contractor’s inspection firm and worked directly with the production sub-contractors, general contractor, and Army Corps of Engineers to successfully develop welding procedures and replace the first set of lift gate arms.
Red Hawk Casino Warehouse Cargo Elevator Expansion
Red Hawk Resort and Casino is a premier destination located in Placerville, California. The hotel encompasses 120,000 square feet and features 156 deluxe rooms, 25 suites, an outdoor terrace, a pool, and a fitness center for guests. When Red Hawk sought to enhance their offerings with an 85,000-square-foot amusement complex, they turned to our team for assistance with the Warehouse Cargo Elevator Expansion. ETMS was responsible for qualifying welders on-site for production work after developing WPS’s. Conducting CWI & NDT inspection on in-process and post-production weldments.
Shasta Park Water Tank Installation
ETMS is proud to be a part of the Shasta Park Water Tank Installation. Our team was responsible for interfacing with both the general and subcontractors to verify materials. We also ensured Welder qualifications and production Welding to AWWA & AWS Standards.
EBMUD Distribution Pump House
ETMS is responsible for interfacing with GC & EBMUD to provide weld mapping, WPS Development, and Welder Certification in AWS D1,6 Stainless Steel. Providing on-site production inspection and monitoring of post-production processing.
